We do not carry out tree work. Enquiries made through this site or by phone are passed to independent tree contractors operating in your part of Sydney. Those contractors are not our employees, partners or agents.
Any contract for tree work is between you and the contractor. They set the price, they do the work, and they carry the responsibility for it.
What we do not verify
We do not check, confirm or vouch for any contractor's:
- Licensing or business registration.
- Public liability or workers compensation insurance.
- Arboricultural qualifications or certifications.
- Workmanship on any particular job.
Ask for evidence of insurance and qualifications directly, before work starts. A competent operator provides them without fuss. If you cannot get them, that is information worth acting on.
Claims made elsewhere
Where marketing language on this or any site describes a business as "certified", "fully insured", "licensed" or similar, treat it as a claim to be verified rather than a fact already established. That applies to this site as much as to any other.
General information only
The material published here about council tree preservation orders, the NSW 10/50 vegetation clearing entitlement, Ausgrid powerline clearance, soils, species, pruning standards and costs is general information about Sydney tree work. It is written as accurately as we can, and it is not:
- Legal advice.
- Planning advice.
- An arboricultural assessment of any specific tree.
Sydney has thirty-three councils with individual tree rules that change over time, and the 10/50 entitlement mapping has been revised more than once since it was introduced. Confirm the position for your own address with your council, the NSW Rural Fire Service mapping tool, or a qualified consulting arborist before acting.
Prices
Any dollar figures on this site are indicative ranges for general guidance, drawn from our own published tree care articles. They are not quotes, offers or estimates for your job, and access, species, ground conditions and council requirements can put a real job well outside them. Get a price from a contractor who has seen the tree.
No reviews or ratings are published here
This version of the site publishes no star rating, review count or customer testimonials. The previous version displayed review text naming a different trading name in the same network, which is not this site's to republish. If you want to see reviews, look up the contractor's own Google Business Profile.
Similarly, this site makes no claim about years in business, number of jobs completed, staff numbers or insurance limits, because none of those could be verified from the material available.
Safety
Tree work is dangerous. Nothing on this site should be read as encouragement to undertake work beyond your competence, and in particular nothing here should be taken as advice to work at height with a chainsaw or to work near electrical infrastructure.
If a tree is on or near a powerline, contact Ausgrid. No tree contractor may lawfully work on a live conductor.
